about

"Shambhala (fantastic jazz suite)" is the third studio album by the Bosque Sound Community from Belgrade, released on April 15. The album is definitely something new, both in the sound expanded the basic line-up, as well as the genre offer on the jazz scene. Since the creation of the band, that is, the project conceived by Miloš Bosnić, we strive not to fall into the stylistic and genre stereotypes. Jazz is just a good excuse for our stylistic versatility and uniqueness. That versatility is also noticeable in this issue. On the new material, we included Aleksandar Radulović in percussion in the basic composition of the band, which consists of: Miloš Bosnić (bass guitarist, composer and band leader), Dušan Petrovć (saxophone), Stevan Milijanović (keyboards) and Aleksa Milijanović (drums). thus basically changing the sound and the approach to the performance.

Combined a lot with styles and arrangements. It is basically a work that is listened to as a whole, which is divided into three sections and six songs. We used various symphonic instruments, and without any prejudices we let the final product surprise us, which happened to our great satisfaction.
The theme of the album is a cycle of a spiritual path, a process from naivety, through a collision with ourselves and the world we live in, to a spiritual transformation and realization of our own peace. The theme is universal and timeless, and Shambhala as a mythical place served as a metaphor for that spiritual state of every thinking person. The first song - At the Gates is the first movement and represents a complete symphonic work as an introduction to the story. The second part - Up pt 1 & 2 and Moon Child shows life in suspense through folklore, rhythmic, lively and hedonistic musical motifs. The mild calm that appears in Moon Child is a cry for the meaning of life. The third section consists of Shmbhala pt 1 & 2 and they represent the spiritual awakening of the main character and the highlight of the album.
